A further two nights addition to Glimpses Of Nepal tour allows the visitor to see further west of Chitwan till as far as Lumbini, and also further west of Pokhara, Tansen. Lumbini, a historical site of great importance has been verified as the birthplace of Gautama Buddha. Tansen is an idyllic hill town overlooking the Terai plains on one side and the western Himalaya on the other side, and is among the few other towns besides Kathmandu that bears a rich legacy of traditional art and architecture.
Day 01 Arrive Kathmandu. Meet at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02 Breakfast at the hotel. Full day sightseeing tours of Panuati, Patan & Patan Handicrafts Centre. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 03 Transfer to the airport & fly to Lumbini (Bhairahawa Airport). Arrive, transfer to the hotel and check in. Afternoon, sightseeing tour of The Sacred Garden, the birth place of Lord Buddha. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Lumbini.
Day 04 Transfer to Tansen, arrive, and check in at the hotel. After lunch, sightseeing tours in and around Tansen. Dinner and overnight in hotel at Tansen.
Day 05 Wake up to an exhilarating ultra wide panorama of the Himalaya all the way from Kanjiroba in the far west to Langtang which is directly north to Kathmandu. Drive to Pokhara / or Chitwan (for Chitwan Option). Arrive & check into hotel in Pokhara/Lodge in Chitwan. Boating around the Phewa Lake in the evening / Jungle activities at Chitwan. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara/Lodge in Chitwan.
Day 06 Tour of Pokhara Valley in the morning leaving the afternoon at leisure.Full day of jungle activities on full board at Chitwan.Overnight at hotel in Pokhara/Lodge in Chitwan.
Day 07 Transfer to airport & fly back to Kathmandu from either Pokhara/Chitwan.Arrive Kathmandu, meet at the airport and transfer to Nagarkot. Dinner & overnight at Nagarkot.
Day 08 Enjoy the early morning panoramic view of the Himalaya including and After breakfast, tour of Changunarayan, Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath & Boudhanath. Lunch break in Bhaktapur where visitors may buy their own meals. Check in for overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 09 Breakfast in hotel. Half day tour of Kathmandu City & Swayambhunath in the morning. Afternoon at leisure for optional tours/personal activities. Golden Tours will host a complimentary Nepali dinner with Cultural Show & R/T hotel transfers. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
